The books I review are a mix of ones I've bought myself or downloaded as advance review copies (ARCs) from publishers - usually through NetGalley. If I have received a book from a third party this is always mentioned at the end of the review.
I don't leave negative reviews. If I can't continue with a book I will let the publisher know and give my reason. I also try to avoid writing reviews for people I 'know', either in real life or through social media.
I have almost 2,000 books on my Kindle and I often re-visit old favourites. These reviews are only about 50% of what I actually read. So I’m afraid I can't accept any more for review. I have far too many of my own!
